Xerox Golden Lions XV flanker James Venter has been included in the SuperSport Rugby Challenge team line-up to face the Leopards in Wolmaransstad on Saturday.

Venter is a prolific try scorer who has bagged 13 tries in 15 outings in the Lions number six jersey. He has two Vodacom Super Rugby caps under his belt.

Ulric Maritz has been included on the bench as flyhalf Jeanluc Cilliers’ understudy.

Kennedy Mpeku will cover the fullback berth and together with Madosh Tambwe and Stean Pienaar the threesome can form a formidable back combination.
